Jesus answered and said unto them, Even if I bear witness of myself, my witness is true; for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye know not whence I come, or whither I go.

Iesusª answered,ª° andª saidª° vnto them,ª Thoughª Iª beare recordª° ofª my selfe,ª yet myª recordª isª° true:ª forª I knowª° whenceª I came,ª° andª whitherª I goe:ª° butª yeª cannot² tellª°¹ whenceª I come,ª° andª whitherª I goe.ª°

Jeshu answered and said to them, Though I testify of myself, my testimony is the truth: because I know from whence I am, and whither I go. But you know not from whence I am, nor whither I go.

Jesus answered and said to them: Although I bear witness of myself, my testimony is certain, because I know whence I came, and whither I go. But ye do not know, whence I came, and whither I go.

ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Κἂν ἐγὼ μαρτυρῶ περὶ ἐμαυτοῦ, ἀληθής ἐστιν ἡ μαρτυρία μου, ὅτι οἶδα πόθεν ἦλθον καὶ ποῦ ὑπάγω: ὑμεῖς δὲ οὐκ οἴδατε πόθεν ἔρχομαι ἢ ποῦ ὑπάγω.

It-was-separated-off an-Iesous and it-had-said unto-them, And-ever I I-might-witness-unto about of-myself, un-secluded it-be the-one a-witnessing-unto of-me, to-which-a-one I-had-come-to-see whither-from I-had-came and of-whither I-lead-under; ye moreover not ye-had-come-to-see whither-from I-come or of-whither I-lead-under.
