So he cometh to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph:

and he came to a city of the Shomroyee which is called Shokar, nigh to the field which Jakub gave unto Jauseph his son.

And he came to a city of the Samaritans called Sychar, near the field which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

ἔρχεται οὖν εἰς πόλιν τῆς Σαμαρίας λεγομένην Συχὰρ πλησίον τοῦ χωρίου ὃ ἔδωκεν Ἰακὼβ [τῷ] Ἰωσὴφ τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ:

It-cometh accordingly into to-a-city of-the-one of-a-Samaria to-being-forthed to-a-Suchar to-nigh-belonged of-the-one of-a-spacelet to-which it-gave, an-Iakob, [unto-the-one] unto-an-Iosef unto-the-one unto-a-son of-it;
