Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Nikodimos said to him, How can an old man be born? Who can again the womb of his mother the second time enter, and be born?

Nicodemus said to him: How can an old man be born? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?

λέγει πρὸς αὐτὸν [ὁ] Νικόδημος Πῶς δύναται ἄνθρωπος γεννηθῆναι γἐρων ὤν; μὴ δύναται εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ δεύτερον εἰσελθεῖν καὶ γεννηθῆναι;

It-fortheth toward to-it, [the-one] a-Nikodemos, Unto-whither it-ableth, a-mankind, to-have-been-generated-unto, a-senioring being? Lest it-ableth into to-the-one to-a-hollowing-unto of-the-one of-a-mother of-it to-second to-have-had-came-into and to-have-been-generated-unto?
