and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when [men] have drunk freely, [then] that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Andª saithª° unto him,ª Everyª manª at the beginningª doth set forthª° goodª wine;ª andª whenª men have well drunk,ª° thenª that which is worse:ª [but] thouª hast keptª° the¹ goodª wineª untilª now.ª

and said to him, Every man at first the good wine produceth, and when they are satisfied, then that which is inferior; but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

and said to him: Every man first bringeth forward the good wine, and when they are satiated, then that which is inferior; but thou hast kept the good wine till now.

καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Πᾶς ἄνθρωπος πρῶτον τὸν καλὸν οἶνον τίθησιν, καὶ ὅταν μεθυσθῶσιν τὸν ἐλάσσω: σὺ τετήρηκας τὸν καλὸν οἶνον ἕως ἄρτι.

and it-fortheth unto-it, All a-mankind to-most-before to-the-one to-seemly to-a-wine it-placeth, and which-also-ever they-might-be-intoxicated to-the-one to-lackened; thou thou-had-come-to-keep-unto to-the-one to-seemly to-a-wine unto-if-which unto-adjusted.
