And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,

ª Whenª the¹ ruler of the feastª had tastedª° the¹ waterª that was madeª° wine,ª andª knewª° notª whenceª it was:ª° (butª the¹ servantsª which² drewª° the¹ waterª knew;)ª° the¹ governor of the feastª calledª° the¹ bridegroom,ª

And when that chief of the guests had tasted those waters which were made wine, and knew not whence it was, (but the servitors knew, who had filled them with waters,) the chief of the guests called the bridegroom,

And when the master of the feast tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know whence it came, (although the waiters knew, as they had filled the pots with water,) the master of the feast called the bridegroom,

ὡς δὲ ἐγεύσατο ὁ ἀρχιτρίκλινος τὸ ὕδωρ οἶνον γεγενημένον, καὶ οὐκ ᾔδει πόθεν ἐστίν, οἱ δὲ διάκονοι ᾔδεισαν οἱ ἠντληκότες τὸ ὕδωρ, φωνεῖ τὸν νυμφίον ὁ ἀρχιτρίκλινος

As moreover it-tasted-of, the-one a-first-of-three-reclinings, to-the-one to-a-water to-a-wine to-having-had-come-to-be-became, and not it-had-come-to-have-seen whither-from it-be, the-ones moreover raisers-through they-had-come-to-have-seen, the-ones having-had-come-to-bucket-unto to-the-one to-a-water, it-soundeth-unto to-the-one to-bride-belonged, the-one a-first-of-three-reclinings,
