And John bare witness, saying, I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven; and it abode upon him.

And Juchanon testified and said, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven as a dove, and it remained upon him.

And John testified, and said: I saw the Spirit descend from heaven, as a dove, and rest upon him.

Καὶ ἐμαρτύρησεν Ἰωάνης λέγων ὅτι Τεθέαμαι τὸ πνεῦμα καταβαῖνον ὡς περιστερὰν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ ἔμεινεν ἐπ' αὐτόν:

And it-witnessed-unto, an-Ioanes, forthing to-which-a-one, I-had-come-to-perceive-unto to-the-one to-a-currenting-to to-stepping-down as to-lattered-about out of-a-sky and it-stayed upon to-it;
