And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad.

Andª he saidª° untoª them,ª What² manner¹ of communicationsª [are] theseª thatª ye haveª° one to² another,ª¹ as ye walk,ª° andª areª° sad?ª

And he said to them, What are these words that you speak with each other, as you walk and are sad?

And he said to them: What are these discourses, which ye hold with each other, as ye walk and are sad?

εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς Τίνες οἱ λόγοι οὗτοι οὓς ἀντιβάλλετε πρὸς ἀλλήλους περιπατοῦντες; καὶ ἐστάθησαν σκυθρωποί.

It-had-said moreover toward to-them, What-ones the-ones forthees the-ones-these to-which ye-ever-a-one-casteth toward to-one-to-other treading-about-unto? And they-were-stood sullen-looked.
