And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath this man done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him and release him.

Andª he¹ saidª° untoª themª the third time,ª Why,ª whatª evilª hath²° heª done?ª° I have foundª° noª causeª of deathª inª him:ª I will²° thereforeª chastiseª° him,ª and¹ let [him] go.ª°

He the third time also said to them, Why, what evil hath this done? Cause whatever that is worthy of death, I find not in him: I will therefore chastise him, and dismiss him.

And he said to them the third time: But, what evil hath he done? I find no crime in him deserving of death. I will scourge him, therefore, and release him.

ὁ δὲ τρίτον εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Τί γὰρ κακὸν ἐποίησεν οὗτος; οὐδὲν αἴτιον θανάτου εὗρον ἐν αὐτῷ: παιδεύσας οὖν αὐτὸν ἀπολύσω.

The-one moreover to-third it-had-said toward to-them, To-what-one therefore to-disrupted it-did-unto, the-one-this? To-not-moreover-one to-appeal-belonged of-a-death I-had-found in unto-it; having-childed-of accordingly to-it I-shall-loose-off.
