And when he knew that he was of Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him unto Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem in these days.

Andª as soon as he knewª° thatª he belonged²° untoª¹ Herod'sª jurisdiction,ª he sentª° himª toª Herod,ª who²° himselfª alsoª wasª° atª Jerusalemª atª thatª time.ª

And when he knew that he was from the limit of the jurisdiction of Herodes, he sent him unto Herodes, because that in Urishlem he was in those days.

And having learned that he was from under Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod; for he was at Jerusalem on those days.

καὶ ἐπιγνοὺς ὅτι ἐκ τῆς ἐξουσίας Ἡρῴδου ἐστὶν ἀνέπεμψεν αὐτὸν πρὸς Ἡρῴδην, ὄντα καὶ αὐτὸν ἐν Ἰεροσολύμοις ἐν ταύταις ταῖς ἡμέραις.
