And if any one ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say, The Lord hath need of him.

Andª ifª any manª askª° you,ª Whyª do ye looseª° [him]? thusª shall ye sayª° unto him,ª Becauseª the¹ Lordª hathª° needª of him.ª

Andª ifª any manª askeª° you,ª Whyª do ye looseª° him? Thusª shall ye sayª° vnto him,ª Becauseª the¹ Lordª hathª° needeª of him.ª

And if any man demand why you loose him, thus say: It is requested by our Lord.

And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? say to him: Our Lord needeth him.

καὶ ἐάν τις ὑμᾶς ἐρωτᾷ Διὰ τί λύετε; οὕτως ἐρεῖτε ὅτι Ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχει.

And if-ever a-one to-ye it-might-entreat-unto, Through to-what-one ye-loose? Unto-the-one-this ye-should-utter-unto to-which-a-one, The-one Authority-belonged of-it to-an-affording-of it-holdeth.
