And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

And he was not willing long time; but afterward he said within himself, If of Aloha I am not afraid, and of men am not regardful,

And he would not, for a long time: but afterwards, he said to himself: Though I fear not God, and regard not men,

καὶ οὐκ ἤθελεν ἐπὶ χρόνον, μετὰ ταῦτα δὲ εἶπεν ἐν ἑαυτῷ Εἰ καὶ τὸν θεὸν οὐ φοβοῦμαι οὐδὲ ἄνθρωπον ἐντρέπομαι,

And not it-was-determining upon to-an-interim. With to-the-ones-these moreover it-had-said in unto-self, If and to-the-one to-a-Deity not I-fearee-unto not-moreover to-a-mankind I-turn-in,
