for as the lightning, when it lighteneth out of the one part under the heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.

Forª asª the¹ lightning,ª that lightenethª° out¹ of² the one¹ [part] underª heaven,ª shinethª° untoª the other¹ [part] underª heaven;ª soª shall alsoª the¹ Sonª of manª beª° inª his²¹ day.ª

For, as the lightning darteth from the heavens, and illuminateth all beneath the heavens; so will the Son of man be, in his day.

ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ ἀστράπτουσα ἐκ τῆς ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανὸν εἰς τὴν ὑπ' οὐρανὸν λάμπει, οὕτως ἔσται ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου.
