and be ye yourselves like unto men looking for their lord, when he shall return from the marriage feast; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway open unto him.

Andª ye yourselvesª like² unto¹ menª that wait²° for¹ theirª lord,ª whenª he will returnª° fromª the¹ wedding;ª thatª when he comethª° andª knocketh,ª° they may openª° unto himª immediately.ª

Andª ye your seluesª like² vnto¹ menª that waite²° for¹ theirª Lord,ª whenª he will returneª° fromª the¹ wedding,ª thatª when he commethª° andª knocketh,ª° they may openª° vnto himª immediately.ª

and be you like men who wait for their lord, when he shall return from the place of festivity, that, when he hath come and knocked, immediately they may open to him.

And be ye like persons who are waiting for their lord, when he shall return from the house of feasting, that, when he shall come and knock, they may open to him immediately.

καὶ ὑμεῖς ὅμοιοι ἀνθρώποις προσδεχομένοις τὸν κύριον ἑαυτῶν πότε ἀναλύσῃ ἐκ τῶν γάμων, ἵνα ἐλθόντος καὶ κρούσαντος εὐθέως ἀνοίξωσιν αὐτῷ.

and ye along-belonged unto-mankinds unto-receiving-toward to-the-one to-authority-belonged of-selves whither-also it-might-have-loosed-up out of-the-ones of-marriages, so of-having-had-came and of-having-knocked unto-straight they-might-have-opened-up unto-it.
