And when he was come out from thence, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press upon [him] vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things;

And while he spoke these (words) to them, the Sophree and Pharishee began to be displeased, and they were wrathful, and controverted his words,

And when he had said these things to them, the Scribes and Pharisees began to be offended, and became angry, and carped at his discourses,

Κἀκεῖθεν ἐξελθόντος αὐτοῦ ἤρξαντο οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι δεινῶς ἐνέχειν καὶ ἀποστοματίζειν αὐτὸν περὶ πλειόνων,

And-thither-from of-having-had-came-out of-it they-firsted, the-ones letterers-of and the-ones Faris-belonged, unto-moreover-so to-hold-in and to-mouth-off-to to-it about of-more-beyond,
