Or [if] he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion?

Orªª ifª he shall askª° an egg,ª will he¹ offerª²° himª a scorpion?ª

or if an egg he shall ask, will he a scorpion reach to him?

Or, if he ask of him an egg, will he reach to him a scorpion?

ἢ καὶ αἰτήσει ᾠόν, ἐπιδώσει αὐτῷ σκορπίον;

Or and it-shall-appeal-unto to-an-egg, it-shall-give-upon unto-it to-a-scorpion?
