And it came to pass, as he was praying in a certain place, that when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, even as John also taught his disciples.

Andª it came to pass,ª° that, as² heª wasª° prayingª° inª a certainª place,ª whenª he ceased,²°¹ oneª of hisª disciplesª saidª° untoª him,ª Lord,ª teachª° usª to pray,ª° asª Johnª alsoª taughtª° his²¹ disciples.ª

AND it was that while he was praying in a certain place, when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, Our Lord, teach us to pray as also Juchanon taught his disciples.
