And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.

Andª Johnª answeredª° and said,ª° Master,ª we sawª° oneª casting outª° devilsª inª thyª name;ª andª we forbadª° him,ª becauseª he followethª° notª withª us.ª

Andª Iohnª answered,ª° and said,ª° Master,ª we sawª° oneª casting outª° deuilsª inª thyª Name,ª andª we forbadeª° him,ª becauseª he followethª° notª withª vs.ª

And Juchanon answered and said, Raban, we saw a man who was casting out demons in thy name, and we forbade him, because he came not with us after thee.

And John answered, and said: Our Rabbi, we saw a man casting out demons in thy name; and we forbad him, because he doth not, with us, follow thee.

Ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ Ἰωάνης εἶπεν Ἐπιστάτα, εἴδαμέν τινα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἐκβάλλοντα δαιμόνια, καὶ ἐκωλύομεν αὐτὸν ὅτι οὐκ ἀκολουθεῖ μεθ' ἡμῶν.
