For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

For whoever willeth to save his life, loseth it; but whoever (is willing) to lose his life, for my sake, he saveth it.

For he that will preserve his life, shall lose it; but he that shall lose his life, for my sake, will preserve it.

ὃς γὰρ ἂν θέλῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ σῶσαι, ἀπολέσει αὐτήν: ὃς δ' ἂν ἀπολέσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ, οὗτος σώσει αὐτήν.

Which therefore ever it-might-determine to-the-one to-a-breathing of-it to-have-saved, it-shall-destruct-off to-it; which moreover ever it-might-have-destructed-off to-the-one to-a-breathing of-it in-out-in of-ME, the-one-this it-shall-save to-it.
