and they rose up, and cast him forth out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might throw him down headlong.

Andª rose up,ª° and thrustª° himª out¹ of² the¹ city,ª andª ledª° himª untoª the¹ browª of the¹ hillª whereonªª theirª cityª was built,ª° that² they might cast²° him² down headlong.ª°¹

and they arose, forced him without from the city, and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built to throw him from the rock:

And they rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and brought him to the top of the hill on which the city was built, that they might cast him down from the rock.

καὶ ἀναστάντες ἐξέβαλον αὐτὸν ἔξω τῆς πόλεως, καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν ἕως ὀφρύος τοῦ ὄρους ἐφ' οὗ ἡ πόλις ᾠκοδόμητο αὐτῶν, ὥστε κατακρημνίσαι αὐτόν:

and having-had-stood-up they-had-casted to-it out-unto-which of-the-one of-a-city, and they-had-led to-it unto-if-which of-a-brow of-the-one of-a-jut upon of-which the-one a-city it-had-come-to-have-been-house-built-unto of-them, as-also to-have-precipiced-down-to to-it.
