And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? knew ye not that I must be in my Father's house?

Andª he saidª° untoª them,ª Howª is it thatª ye soughtª° me?ª wist¹ ye²° notª thatª Iª mustª° beª° aboutª myª Father's business?ª¹

Andª he saidª° vntoª them,ª Howª is it thatª ye soughtª° me?ª Wist¹ yee²° notª thatª Iª mustª° beeª° aboutª myª fathers businesse?ª¹

He saith to them, Why have you sought me (elsewhere)? Knew you not that (in) the house of my Father it behoveth me to be?

He said to them: Why did ye seek me? Do ye not know, that it behooveth me to be in my Father's house?

καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Τί ὅτι ἐζητεῖτέ με; οὐκ ᾔδειτε ὅτι ἐν τοῖς τοῦ πατρός μου δεῖ εἶναί με;

And it-had-said toward to-them, To-what-one to-which-a-one ye-were-seeking-unto to-me? Not ye-had-come-to-have-seen to-which-a-one in unto-the-ones of-the-one of-a-Father of-me it-bindeth to-be to-me?
