And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

And,ª behold,ª° there wasª° a manª inª Jerusalem,ª whoseª nameª [was] Simeon;ª andª the sameª manª [was] justª andª devout,ª waiting²° for¹ the consolationª of Israel:ª andª the Holyª Ghostª wasª° uponª him.ª

Andª behold,ª° there wasª° a manª inª Hierusalem,ª whoseª nameª was Simeon,ª andª the sameª manª was iustª andª deuout,ª waiting²° for¹ the consolationª of Israel:ª andª the holyª Ghostª wasª° vponª him.ª

But there was a certain man in Urishlem, whose name was Shemun; and this man was just and righteous, and he had waited for the consolation of Isroel, and the Spirit of Holiness was upon him.

And there was a certain man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon. This man was upright and just, and was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

Καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνθρωπος ἦν ἐν Ἰερουσαλὴμ ᾧ ὄνομα Συμεών, καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος οὗτος δίκαιος καὶ εὐλαβής, προσδεχόμενος παράκλησιν τοῦ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ πνεῦμα ἦν ἅγιον ἐπ' αὐτόν:

And thou-should-have-had-seen, a-mankind, it-was in unto-a-Hierousalem unto-which a-name a-Sumeon, and the-one a-mankind the-one-this course-belonged and goodly-taken, receiving-toward to-a-calling-beside of-the-one of-an-Israel, and a-currenting-to it-was hallow-belonged upon to-it.
