And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect's sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days.

And unless the Lord cut short those days, no flesh would live; but on account of the elect whom he hath chosen, those days he hath cut short.

καὶ εἰ μὴ ἐκολόβωσεν Κύριος τὰς ἡμέρας, οὐκ ἂν ἐσώθη πᾶσα σάρξ: ἀλλὰ διὰ τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς οὓς ἐξελέξατο ἐκολόβωσεν τὰς ἡμέρας.

And if lest it-en-shortened, Authority-belonged, to-the-ones to-days, not ever it-was-saved all a-flesh, other through to-the-ones to-forthed-out to-which it-forthed-out it-en-shortened to-the-ones to-days.
