And there came one whose name was Jorosh, one of the masters of the synagogue; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

And one of the rulers of the synagogue, whose name was Jairus, came, and, on seeing him, fell at his feet,

Καὶ ἔρχεται εἷς τῶν ἀρχισυναγώγων, ὀνόματι Ἰάειρος, καὶ ἰδὼν αὐτὸν πίπτει πρὸς τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ

And it-cometh, one of-the-ones of-leading-together-firsters, unto-a-name an-Iaeiros, and having-had-seen to-it it-falleth toward to-the-ones to-feet of-it,
