And he said unto them, Is the lamp brought to be put under the bushel, or under the bed, [and] not to be put on the stand?

Andª he saidª° unto them,ª Is² a¹ candleª broughtª° toª be putª° underª a bushel,ª orª underª a bed?ª and notª toª be setª° onª a candlestick?ª

Andª he saidª° vnto them,ª Is² a¹ candleª broughtª° toª be putª° vnderª a bushell,ª orª vnderª a bed?ª & notª toª be setª° onª a candlesticke?ª

And he said to them, A lamp never cometh to be put under a measure, or under a bed: is it not set upon a candlestick?

And he said to them: Is a lamp brought to be placed under a bushel, or under a bed? Is it not to be placed on a light-stand?

Καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς ὅτι Μήτι ἔρχεται ὁ λύχνος ἵνα ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον τεθῇ ἢ ὑπὸ τὴν κλίνην, οὐχ ἵνα ἐπὶ τὴν λυχνίαν τεθῇ;

And it-was-forthing unto-them to-which-a-one, To-lest-what-one it-cometh, the-one a-luminating-of, so under to-the-one to-a-modios it-might-have-been-placed, or under to-the-one to-a-reclining? Not so upon to-the-one to-a-luminating-of-unto it-might-have-been-placed?
