And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; and when they have heard, straightway cometh Satan, and taketh away the word which hath been sown in them.

Andª theseª are¹ they²°¹ byª the¹ way side,ª whereª the¹ wordª is sown;ª° butª whenª they have heard,ª° Satanª comethª° immediately,ª andª taketh awayª° the¹ wordª that was sownª° inª theirª hearts.ª

These which were by the way-side, these are they in whom the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately cometh Satana, and taketh up the word which was sowed in their heart.

And those by the side of the path, are they in whom the word is sown; and as soon as they have heard [it], Satan cometh, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

οὗτοι δέ εἰσιν οἱ παρὰ τὴν ὁδὸν ὅπου σπείρεται ὁ λόγος, καὶ ὅταν ἀκούσωσιν εὐθὺς ἔρχεται ὁ Σατανᾶς καὶ αἴρει τὸν λόγον τὸν ἐσπαρμένον εἰς αὐτούς.

The-ones-these moreover they-be the-ones beside to-the-one to-a-way to-which-of-whither it-be-whorled the-one a-forthee, and which-also-ever they-might-have-heard, straight it-cometh, the-one a-satanas, and it-lifteth to-the-one to-a-forthee to-the-one to-having-had-come-to-be-whorled into to-them.
