and it came to pass, as he sowed, some [seed] fell by the way side, and the birds came and devoured it.

and as he sowed, some fell by the way-side, and the fowl came and devoured it.

καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ σπείρειν ὃ μὲν ἔπεσεν παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν, καὶ ἦλθεν τὰ πετεινὰ καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτό.

And it-had-became in unto-the-one to-whorl which indeed it-had-fallen beside to-the-one to-a-way, and it-had-came, the-ones flying-belonged-of, and it-had-devoured-down to-it.
