Now when morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

Whenª the morningª was come,ª° allª the¹ chief priestsª andª eldersª of the¹ peopleª tookª° counselª againstª Jesusª toª put²° him² to death:ª°¹

BUT when it was morning, the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jeshu, how they should put him to death.

And when it was morning, the chief priests and the elders of the people held a council against Jesus, how they might put him to death.

Πρωίας δὲ γενομένης συμβούλιον ἔλαβον πάντες οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ κατὰ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ὥστε θανατῶσαι αὐτόν:
