and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.

Andª he saithª° unto him,ª Friend,ª howª camest¹ thou²° in hitherª notª havingª° a weddingª garment?ª Andª he¹ was speechless.ª°

Andª hee saythª° vnto him,ª Friend,ª howª camest¹ thou²° in hither,ª notª hauingª° a weddingª garment?ª Andª hee¹ was speechlesse.ª°

And he said to him, My friend, how didst thou enter here, when thou hast not the vestments of the feast? But he was silent.

And he said to him: My friend, how camest thou here without the festal robes? But he was silent.

καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Ἑταῖρε, πῶς εἰσῆλθες ὧδε μὴ ἔχων ἔνδυμα γάμου; ὁ δὲ ἐφιμώθη.

and it-fortheth unto-it, Comrade, unto-whither thou-had-came-into unto-which-moreover lest holding to-a-vesting-in-to of-a-marriage? The-one moreover it-was-en-muzzled.
