And the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine.

Soª the¹ devilsª besoughtª° him,ª saying,ª° Ifª thou cast²° us² out,ª°¹ sufferª° usª to go awayª° intoª the¹ herdª of swine.ª

Those demons, therefore, supplicated from him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go into the herd of swine.

And the demons entreated of him, and said: If thou cast us out, suffer us to go into the herd of swine.

οἱ δὲ δαίμονες παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν λέγοντες Εἰ ἐκβάλλεις ἡμᾶς, ἀπόστειλον ἡμᾶς εἰς τὴν ἀγέλην τῶν χοίρων.
