And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed.

¹ The¹ centurionª answeredª° and² said,ª° Lord,ª I amª° notª worthyª thatª thou shouldest comeª° underª myª roof:ª butª speakª° the wordª only,ª andª myª servantª shall be healed.ª°

¹ The¹ Centurionª answered,ª° and² said,ª° Lord,ª I amª° notª worthyª thatª thou shouldest comeª° vnderª myª roofe:ª butª speakeª° the wordª onely,ª andª myª seruantª shalbe healed.ª°

The centurion answered and saith, My Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come beneath my roof; only speak in a word, and my child shall be healed.

The centurion replied, and said: My Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my child will be healed.

ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἑκατόνταρχος ἔφη Κύριε, οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς ἵνα μου ὑπὸ τὴν στέγην εἰσέλθῃς: ἀλλὰ μόνον εἰπὲ λόγῳ, καὶ ἰαθήσεται ὁ παῖς μου:

Having-been-separated-off moreover the-one a-first-of-hundred* it-was-declaring, Authority-belonged, not I-be ampled so of-me under to-the-one to-a-shielding thou-might-have-had-came-into, other to-alone thou-should-have-had-said unto-a-forthee and it-shall-be-cured-unto the-one a-child of-me;
