But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is the darkness!

But if thy eye shall be diseased, thy whole body will be dark. If then the light that is in thee be darkness, how great will be thy darkness!

ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρὸς ᾖ, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτινὸν ἔσται. εἰ οὖν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν, τὸ σκότος πόσον.

if-ever moreover the-one an-eye of-thee en-necessitated it-might-be, whole the-one a-body of-thee obscured-belonged-to it-shall-be. If accordingly the-one a-light the-one in unto-THEE an-obscurity it-be, the-one an-obscurity whither-which?
