But Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffereth him.

But Jeshu answered and said unto him, Permit [this] now; for thus it becometh us to accomplish all righteousness. And then he permitted him.

And Jesus answered, and said to him: Allow it now, for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he permitted him.

ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἄφες ἄρτι, οὕτω γὰρ πρέπον ἐστὶν ἡμῖν πληρῶσαι πᾶσαν δικαιοσύνην. τότε ἀφίησιν αὐτόν.

Having-been-separated-off moreover the-one an-Iesous it-had-said unto-it, Thou-should-have-had-sent-off unto-adjusted, of-which-unto-the-one therefore befitting it-be unto-us to-have-en-filled to-all to-a-course-belongedness. To-the-one-which-also it-sendeth-off to-it.
