Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise-men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly learned of the Wise-men.

Thenª Herode,ª when hee sawª° thatª hee was mockedª° ofª the¹ Wise men,ª was exceeding² wroth,ª°¹ andª sent foorth,ª° and¹ sleweª° allª the¹ childrenª that¹ were inª Bethlehem,ª andª inª allª the¹ coastsª thereof,ª fromª two yeeres oldeª andª vnder,ª accordingª to the¹ time,ª whichª he had diligently enquiredª° ofª the¹ Wise men.ª

Then Herodes, when he saw that he had been deluded by the Magians, was greatly wroth, and sent (and) killed all the children of Beth-lechem, and all its limits, from two years and under, according to the time which he had inquired from the Magians.

Then Herod, when he saw that he had been deluded by the Magi, was very angry. And he sent and slew all the children in Bethlehem, and in all its confines, from a child of two years and under, according to the time that he had carefully learned from the Magi.

Τότε Ἡρῴδης ἰδὼν ὅτι ἐνεπαίχθη ὑπὸ τῶν μάγων ἐθυμώθη λίαν, καὶ ἀποστείλας ἀνεῖλεν πάντας τοὺς παῖδας τοὺς ἐν Βηθλεὲμ καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς ἀπὸ διετοῦς καὶ κατωτέρω, κατὰ τὸν χρόνον ὃν ἠκρίβωσεν παρὰ τῶν μάγων.

To-the-one-which-also a-Herodes having-had-seen to-which-a-one it-was-childed-in-to under of-the-ones of-magos' it-was-en-passioned to-exceedingly, and having-set-off it-had-sectioned-up to-all to-the-ones to-children to-the-ones in unto-a-Bethleem and in unto-all unto-the-ones unto-boundlets of-it off of-two-yeared and of-more-down-unto-which, down to-the-one to-an-interim to-which it-en-exacted beside of-the-ones of-magos'.
