But thou, Beth-lehem Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall one come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.

But thou,¹ Bethlehemª Ephratah,ª [though] thou be¹ littleª among the thousandsª of Judah,ª [yet] out of¹ thee shall he come forthª° unto me [that is] to be¹ rulerª° in Israel;ª whose goings forthª [have been] from of old,ª¹ from everlasting.ªª¹

But thou¹ Beth-leemª Ephratah,ª [though] thou bee¹ littleª among the thousandsª of Iudah,ª [yet] out of¹ thee shall he come foorthª° vnto mee, [that is] to be¹ rulerª° in Israel:ª whose goings foorthª [haue bene] from of old,ª¹ from euerlasting.ªª¹

And thou, Bethlehem{gr.Bethleem}, house of Ephrath{gr.Ephratha}, art few in number to be [reckoned] among the thousands of Judah{gr.Juda}; [yet] out of thee shall one come forth to me, to be a ruler of Israel; and his goings forth were from the beginning, [even] from eternity.

But thou,¹ Bêŧ Läçem בֵּית־לָחֶםª ´Efräŧà אֶפרָתָה,ª [though] thou be¹ littleª among the thousandsª of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,ª [yet] out of¹ thee shall he come forthª° unto me [that is] to be¹ rulerª° in Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל;ª whose goings forthª [have been] from of old,ª¹ from everlasting.ªª¹

w'aTäh Bëyt-lechem ef'rätäh tzäiyr lih'yôt B'al'fëy y'hûdäh miM'khä liy yëtzë lih'yôt môshël B'yis'räël ûmôtzäotäyw miQedem miymëy ôläm
