But when the people of the land shall come before Jehovah in the appointed feasts, he that entereth by the way of the north gate to worship shall go forth by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth straight before him.

But when the peopleª of the landª shall comeª° beforeª the LORDª in the solemn feasts,ª he that entereth²° in¹ by the wayª of the northª gateª to worshipª° shall go outª° by the wayª of the southª gate;ª and he that enterethª° by the wayª of the southª gateª shall go forthª° by the wayª of the northª gate:ª he shall not¹ returnª° by the wayª of the gateª whereby¹ he came in,ª° but¹ shall go forthª° over against²¹ it.
