Then all the men who knew that their wives burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great assembly, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

Then all¹ the men²¹ which knewª° that¹ their wivesª had burned incenseª° unto otherª gods,ª and all¹ the womenª that stood by,ª° a greatª multitude,ª even all¹ the peopleª that dweltª° in the landª of Egypt,ª in Pathros,ª answeredª°¹ Jeremiah,ª saying,ª°
