So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As Jehovah liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life.

So Zedekiahª the kingª swareª° secretlyª unto¹ Jeremiah,ª saying,ª° [As] the LORDª liveth,ª¹ that¹ madeª° us¹ this¹ soul,ª I will not¹ put thee to death,ª° neither¹ will I giveª° thee into the handª of these¹ men²¹ that¹ seekª°¹ thy life.ª

Soª the kingª swareª° secretlyª vnto¹ Ieremiah,ª saying,ª° As the LORDª liuethª¹ that¹ madeª° vs¹ this¹ soule,ª I wil not¹ put thee to death,ª° neither¹ will I giueª° thee into the handª of these¹ men²¹ that¹ seekeª°¹ thy life.ª

And the king swore to him, saying, [As] the Lord lives who gave us this soul, I will not slay thee, neither will I give thee into the hands of these men.

So Xiđkiyyà צִדקִיָּהª the kingª swareª° secretlyª unto¹ Yirmæyà יִרמְיָה,ª saying,ª° [As] Yähwè יָהוֶהª liveth,ª¹ that¹ madeª° us¹ this¹ soul,ª I will not¹ put thee to death,ª° neither¹ will I giveª° thee into the handª of these¹ men²¹ that¹ seekª°¹ thy life.ª
