and they came in, and possessed it, but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them.

And they came¹ in,²° and possessedª° it; but they obeyedª° not¹ thy voice,ª neither¹ walkedª° in thy law;ª they have doneª°¹ nothing¹ of all¹ that¹ thou commandedstª° them to do:ª° therefore thou hast caused¹ all¹ this¹ evilª to come²° upon¹ them:
