Jehovah hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that there may be officers in the house of Jehovah, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in the stocks and in shackles.

The LORDª hath madeª° thee priestª in the stead of¹ Jehoiadaª the priest,ª that ye should be¹ officersª in the houseª of the LORD,ª for every¹ manª [that is] mad,ª° and maketh himself a prophet,ª° that thou shouldest putª° him in¹ prison,ª and in¹ the stocks.ª

The Lord has made thee priest in the place of Jehoiada{gr.Jodae} the priest, to be ruler in the house of the Lord over every prophet, and to every madman, and thou shalt put them in prison, and into the dungeon.
