Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thine own name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, and to all the priests, saying,

Thus¹ speakethª° the LORDª of hosts,ª the Godª of Israel,ª saying,ª° Because¹¹ thou¹ hast sentª° lettersª in thy nameª unto¹ all¹ the peopleª that¹ [are] at Jerusalem,ª and to¹ Zephaniahª the sonª of Maaseiahª the priest,ª and to¹ all¹ the priests,ª saying,ª°

I sent thee not in my name: and to Zephaniah{gr.Sophonias} the priest the son of Maaseiah{gr.Maasaeas} say thou,

Thus¹ speakethª° Yähwè יָהוֶהª Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת,ª the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª saying,ª° Because¹¹ thou¹ hast sentª° lettersª in thy nameª unto¹ all¹ the peopleª that¹ [are] at Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם,ª and to¹ Xæfanyà צְפַניָהª the sonª of Ma`áŝëyà מַעֲשֵׂיָהª the priest,ª and to¹ all¹ the priests,ª saying,ª°
