Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all the captivity, whom I have caused to be carried away captive from Jerusalem unto Babylon:

Thus¹ saithª° the LORDª of hosts,ª the Godª of Israel,ª unto all¹ that are carried away captives,ª whom¹ I have caused to be carried awayª° from Jerusalemª¹ unto Babylon;ª

Thus said the Lord God of Israel concerning the captivity which I caused to be carried away from Jerusalem;

Thus¹ saithª° Yähwè יָהוֶהª Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת,ª the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª unto all¹ that are carried away captives,ª whom¹ I have caused to be carried awayª° from Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַםª¹ unto Bävel בָּבֶל;ª
