And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that Jehovah had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.

Now it came to pass,¹ when Jeremiahª had made an endª° of speakingª°¹ all¹ that¹ the LORDª had commandedª° [him] to speakª° unto¹ all¹ the people,ª that the priestsª and the prophetsª and all¹ the peopleª tookª° him, saying,ª° Thou shalt surely²° die.ª°

And it came to pass, when Jeremiah{gr.Jeremias} had ceased speaking all that the Lord had ordered him to speak to all the people, that the priests and the false prophets and all the people took him, saying,
