Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: they shall not lament for him, [saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! They shall not lament for him, [saying] Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

Therefore¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORDª concerning¹ Jehoiakimª the sonª of Josiahª kingª of Judah;ª They shall not¹ lamentª° for him, [saying], Ahª my brother!ª or, Ahª sister!ª they shall not¹ lamentª° for him, [saying], Ahª lord!ª or, Ahª his glory!ª

Therefore¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORDª concerning¹ Iehoiakimª the sonneª of Iosiahª kingª of Iudah,ª They shall not¹ lamentª° for him, [saying], Ahª my brother,ª or ahª sister:ª they shall not¹ lamentª° for him, [saying], Ahª Lord,ª or ahª his glory.ª

Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning Jehoiakim{gr.Joakim} son of Josiah{gr.Josias}, king of Judah{gr.Juda}, even concerning this man; they shall not bewail him, [saying], Ah brother! neither shall they at all weep for him, [saying], Alas Lord.

Therefore¹ thus¹ saithª° Yähwè יָהוֶהª concerning¹ Yæhôyäkîm יְהוֹיָקִיםª the sonª of Yö´šiyyà יֹאשִׁיָּהª kingª of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה;ª They shall not¹ lamentª° for him, [saying], Ahª my brother!ª or, Ahª sister!ª they shall not¹ lamentª° for him, [saying], Ahª ´áđôn אֲדוֹן!ª or, Ahª his glory!ª
