And they bend their tongue, [as it were] their bow, for falsehood; and they are grown strong in the land, but not for truth: for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith Jehovah.

And they bendª°¹ their tonguesª [like] their bowª [for] lies:ª but they are not¹ valiantª° for the truthª upon the earth;ª for¹ they proceedª° from evilª¹ to¹ evil,ª and they knowª° not¹ me, saithª° the LORD.ª
