How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.

How¹ do ye say,ª° We¹ [are] wise,ª and the lawª of the LORDª [is] with¹ us? Lo,¹ certainlyª in vainª madeª° he [it]; the penª of the scribesª° [is] in vain.ª

How¹ doe ye say,ª° We¹ [are] wise,ª and the Lawª of the LORDª [is] with¹ vs? Loe,¹ certainly,ª in vaineª madeª° he it, the penª of the scribesª° is in vaine.ª

How will ye say, We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? In vain have the scribes used a false pen.
