Then I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish; for they know not the way of Jehovah, nor the law of their God:

Therefore I¹ said,ª° Surely¹ these¹ [are] poor;ª they are foolish:ª° for¹ they knowª° not¹ the wayª of the LORD,ª [nor] the judgmentª of their God.ª

Then I said, It may be they are poor; for they are weak, for they know not the way of the Lord, or the judgment of God.
