For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

For¹ [as] the heavensª are higherª° than the earth,ª¹ so¹ are my ways² higherª°¹ than your ways,ª¹ and my thoughtsª than your thoughts.ª¹

But as the heaven is distant from the earth, so is my way distant from your ways, and your thoughts from my mind.
