God will hear, and answer them, Even he that abideth of old, Selah. [The men] who have no changes, And who fear not God.

Godª shall hear,ª° and afflict²°¹ them, even he that abidethª° of old.ª Selah.ª Because¹ they have no¹ changes,ª therefore they fearª° not¹ God.ª

God shall hear, and bring them low, [even] he that has existed from eternity. Pause. For they suffer no reverse, and [therefore] they have not feared God.

´Ël אֵלª shall hear,ª° and afflict²°¹ them, even he that abidethª° of old.ª Selà סֶלָה.ª Because¹ they have no¹ changes,ª therefore they fearª° not¹ ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.ª
