Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

Then saidª° Zereshª his wifeª and all¹ his friendsª° unto him, Let a gallowsª be madeª° of fiftyª cubitsª high,ª and to morrowª speakª° thou unto the kingª that¹ Mordecaiª may be hangedª° thereon:¹ then goª° thou in merrilyª with¹ the kingª unto¹ the banquet.ª And the thingª pleasedªª° Haman;ª and he caused²° the gallowsª to be made.ª°

And Zosara his wife and his friends said to him, Let there be a gallows made for thee of fifty cubits, and in the morning do thou speak to the king, and let Mordecai{gr.Mardochaeus} be hanged on the gallows: but do thou go in to the feast with the king, and be merry. And the saying pleased Haman{gr.Aman}, and the gallows was prepared.
