wherein was written, It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel; for which cause thou art building the wall: and thou wouldest be their king, according to these words.

Wherein [was] written,ª° It is reportedª° among the heathen,ª and Gashmuª saithª° [it, that] thou¹ and the Jewsª thinkª° to rebel:ª° for¹ which causeª thou¹ buildestª° the wall,ª that thou¹ mayest beª° their king,ª according to these¹ words.ª

And in it was written, It has been reported among the Gentiles that thou and the Jews are planning to revolt: therefore thou art building the wall, and thou wilt be a king to them.
